Among the notable matches, Brazil’s Beatriz Haddad Maia, the tournament’s No. 1 seed, delivered a dominant performance against Spain’s Cristina Bucsa. Czech Republic’s Katerina Siniakova survived a tough challenge from Spain’s Jessica Bouzas Maneiro, eventually winning a thrilling match 2-6, 6-4, 7-6 (2). Siniakova’s experience shone through in the decisive moments, allowing her to advance after a hard-fought battle.

In another all-American showdown, Peyton Stearns delivered a solid performance to defeat Spain’s Sara Sorribes 6-3, 6-2. Stearns controlled the match from the baseline, overpowering Sorribes and moving on to the next round with relative ease.

In doubles quarterfinals action, China’s Yifan Xu and Spain’s Cristina Bucsa teamed up to defeat Brazil’s Ingrid Martins and the United States’ Quinn Gleason 6-3, 6-4, advancing to the semifinals with a strong showing.

With the Round of 16 completed, the tournament heads into the quarterfinals, promising more exciting matchups as players vie for the title in Cleveland.
